To the Girl who Finally is Happy

You did it, girl.

You are finally happy. You feel like you can breathe and smile at the same time again. After all those longs nights of sitting alone in your room, letting your mind run wild, has come to an end. You have a clear clean slate of happiness that has never felt so right. You might not even know where to begin now because it has been so long since you felt this. I am so proud of you. As a girl we all know what it is like to get lost in yourself so easily and become depressed, suicidal, and just alone. Overcoming that and finding your happiness again gives you butterflies, like in middle school when your crush finally texts you back. You deserve nothing but this feeling. It may have taken you years, months, weeks, days or just even hours to find it but it doesn’t matter, what matters is that you are happy. Your happiness comes first and always should… But you also know that it is hard to make sure yourself comes first. You get caught up in life and pleasing others or trying to make everyone around you feel happy, that you suddenly forgot about yourself.

“He who lives in harmony with himself lives in harmony with the universe.”

Marcus Aurelius

It is hard to overcome that routine in life of pleasing others, but you did it. You broke that horrible habit and made yourself come first, and it rewarded you with being happy. Remember how you did that and how amazing it felt when the weight of all that worrying, and stress lifted off your shoulders. You did it, girl.

Hi, my beauties! I just wanted to share with you all a little background of my life and how Prairie Rose Lifestyle came about. I am born and raised in Nebraska and a die-hard Husker fan for life. My parents live out on a farm with a pet pig, 5 dogs, 1 cat, many chickens, and my little sister hahaha. I now live with my boyfriend of two years in a town about 10 minutes from my parent's house. We have two Australian Shepherds (Maggie, 10) and (Callie, 1) and they keep us running. In high school, I started a blog called "The Imperfect Cheerleader" that was focused on my deformed arm and challenges/motivation it brought to me. I then went to college for Nursing and stopped blogging, however, I ended up switching majors to Medical Science and decided to start a new blog. I have always had a passion for blogging and being inspirational for others. I hope you all enjoy Prairie Rose Lifestyle and find it motivational and inspirational.
